Premise
New York City is well known around the world. A city where everything goes, the famous, the infamous and a subculture that has made movies huge. The Mafia. Little is truly known about the New York Mafia, the families are all smart enough to keep their affairs under wraps in attempts to keep NYPD out of their lives. New York is hope to many cultures and as such, many different Mafia families. The basic gangs fliter in and out but in all reality, the Mafias run the city.

The Irish Mafia who has been there since the beginning. The Italian Mafia who has been in New York almost as long as the Irish. The Russian who came down from Boston a few years after the other two. Often the families manage to work together, long enough to screw each other over. There are some unspoken alliances, on the surface no one is a friend. Underneath you might be surprised who actually gets along and who wants you dead.

New York thrives on diversity, but under it all, lies the tangled web of the Mafia and the criminial subculture.
