If you and Marco-s want to have him dead, we will make him dead. Neither mod has a preference as to how you kill him. Whatever you guys come up with, and just talk to Francia-s so she knows (she was Cat in the last comm) and we will adjust the taken page to show him dead. All we ask is either one of you give us a PB to put in the picture place, or allow us to find a guy that works, as we did for the Russians. We are in complete agreement with you on that. And all we ask is that you, or us if you prefer, discuss it with Marco-s and set up the history/keep the history. We want you all as writers to be able to keep and get rid of anything from your previous histories. If you like something, by all means keep it. If you hated how something went, this is the time to start brand new with it. In a realisim stance, New York has five Italian Mafia families. If both of you want your characters to have control, we could make a second Mafia family, and make it so one group is loyal to Angie or Bene (whichever you wish) and one to Marco. We are very flexible and want to make this a very easy enviroment for everyones players to grow. As for who speaks to Marco-s we are more than willing to. We'd prefer you both to work it out, so we aren't playing middle man, going back and forth but if we are needed, we don't mind one bit. No need to age. Age here is flexible, granted realisim is somewhat important, but Alek is the Russian's boss by killing his father. While I agree, age is important, Bene has experiance. Marco doesn't so much. Maybe the two of you could work out where Bene takes over for now, and trains Marco? Maybe because no one else ever did, he could learn from Bene? (Reply to this) (Parent)

We have spoken with both Marco-s and Francia-s regarding a few of your concerns. In reference to the father being killed off, I do not believe Marco-s wants him to be alive still, however Francia-s prefers that he is alive and as of neither has come to us with their compromise on the subject. Mod approved SLs are a bit of a stretch. Marco-s had their history approved for the comm, thus any changes to their history has to be approved by them. We, as the mods, cannot force anyone already playing a character to change their character's history to match someone new coming it, we don't feel its fair. Though, this situation is a bit iffy, as you are both coming in with history from the last comm, and we would like to accomidate both of you. From what we understand, both Bene and Marco have designs on being the new Italian Don. And we believe the last suggestion we had toward both of you was to have Bene start out as the Don, and train Marco to be the next Don, perhaps keeping Bene as his underboss. As for how Marco and Angelo are/were treated by Angelo's father is between the two of you and something that we have no real concern over as it effects your characters. We hope you both can come to a compromise, we think your characters would be a great asset to this comm. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

We have solved the problem. Rafael was admitted into the comm this evening. The writer, has expressed willingness to allow him to be killed off in the future if you and Marco-s decide to have him killed for some reason. They are very willing to play him for as long or as short as he is needed and have left his bio very open for both writers to collaborate with each other and him. They have also said, they have no problem if Angelo comes in with his name, as long as we, the mods are willing to change Carmine to whoever Angelo replaces, since he named 2 of his children after his parents. We hope this helps you both out. We are not sure what you are disagreeing with as we have no position on Angelo vs Marco being considered for replacement. That is fully up to you and Marco-s as the writers behind the characters. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. You would tell us whichever age you wanted for Angelo. That character name would be exchanged to replace Carmine's if it was Giovanni or Giuseppe. I would have to agree, that Rafael would have intended for one of his sons. However, perhaps he did not feel either of the other two were worthy and offered to Angelo who said no, thus then offering to Marco? Could that be a compromise that the two of you reach? It would be realistic with the younger son being so young, that Rafael wouldn't even offer to him initially? Rafael was brought in, more or less to allow you three IC chances to decide what to do. If you guys want him dead, Francia-s only asks that it been a few weeks so Francia and Rafael can have some play. I have not seen her on to ask her if we had in fact mentioned Bene mentoring Marco. I thought we had, but I could be mistaken on that front. I think your latest suggestion is very doable and I do hope that Marco-s can come to a compromise for you both. We can understand that. We want this to be an atmosphere for all of you to thrive and be happy, but if it cannot happen, we do understand. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Just a quick question. I am planning to apply and for the bio.. I actually have the same format but not in the order you guys want it. I am kind of picky about that, so would it be okay if I leave his background they way I have it? It has all the information you guys are looking for, but either way, I wanted to see what you thought.. I didn't want to run the risk of someone applying as him if you decided to have Bene here; as he is on hold for you still. I just assumed you'd want that position. 	The Asian family is on the fence. If people want them, we are all for including them. Probably Chinese or japanese (since both have major mafia ties in their own countries as well as some here) but we wanted to see if there was interest. Your holds have been given further guarantee. As mods we are trying to work with everyone and make everyone as happy as possible, while we know we can't make life/rp experiance here perfect we can try. We have spoken with Marco-s and we are feeling a bit painted into a corner. Both parties are stating that the other is being uncoopperative. We have had a few ideas to help resolve the issues. 1. Rafael was brought into the comm, with the understanding that Marco and Bene would have to talk to him (and the writer) about possibly having him killed off so one of the two could be the new Boss. 2. As Rafael is here currently, it should not matter who has what power, Marco-s agreed to Bene still having his position. We are unclear what else needs to be taken care of. We do know that PMs are not being answered between the two of you and while we would prefer for everyone to be adults and handle it themselves, as the mods we know we have to step in and fix the problem. In regards to your two listed issues we are unsure as to how they are still a problem as Rafael is still alive and being played. 1. The status of Marco, Angelo and the other brothers is up to Rafael and his player. They have a contact post (linked in the directory) and have been in formed before they were accepted that there would be IC problems regarding who was to succeed him. They are more than willing to work with you and Marco-s about this situation. 1a. In regards to Marco-s biography; if you have already said Marco being raised in the family is fine, then we see no problems. No one would be given succession at this point in time. Rafael could be speaking with both of the men and discussing/considering who would take over. But we feel that is something Rafael's writer should be involved in, as he is alive. We do not see why he cannot be training both men to succeed him, and he can then decide who is better suited for it. Angelo has never had the desire, a good father would know that. Perhaps that is why he would be over looked. Perhaps, Rafael would tell Angelo, 'I am aware you do not want the job, I am offering it to Marco.' But again that is something Rafael-s should be involved in as well. If Marco-s will not agree to that, then we will have to take more control over that issue. As of now, succession is a mute point. 2) As for the choice between Bene and Marco, that again should be relatively easy to decide. We were under the impression Bene would succeed, train Marco and then step aside. However, if the point in the arguement over Angelo and Marco is who gets offered the job then why is Bene even involved? If Marco is to be Boss by design of Rafael, then would Bene even be considered or have a place as Boss? I have to admit that part has both of us mods a bit confused. Per your PMs to her and her's toward you. All we have to go on are the sides you each give us. She states you have been rude toward her. And you state she is not giving any compromise. At this point we are starting to believe you are both having a bit of a respect issue with each other. Understandably so, as you are both frustrated and both feel the other is not compromising, and that the other is forcing their issue. All we see from you is a slight compromise. Marco was raised by the Zacchara family. Alright, that was good that you did that. We appriciate that you were willing to have Bene be boss and Marco under him. We will have to further discuss this with Marco-s. We really do wish you both could have handled this without us, as we feel like the middlemen who have to go back and forth with 'She wants this. Over Angelo, we can understand. Angelo has no desire to be the new boss. However, we can see a bit of a problem pertaining to Giovanni and Giuseppe as both should be considered first. We will have to bring that up with Marco-s writer. I believe Rafael-s is willing to do whatever the writers involved want, however, we do understand where the two older brothers should get a shot at the leadership, as Giovanni is 27 the same age as Marco. So even if Marco were to get dibs over say Giuseppe and Angelo, Giovanni should get the spot over Marco. We will discuss this with Marco-s. We agree, per your side of the PMs you are not being rude. But again, we do not have the PMs between each of you to be an unbiased 3rd party toward them. One of us has spoken to you on countless occasions OOC and you have never been rude, nor pushy. Again, with Rafael alive, Bene taking over or Marco doesn't really matter until you all decide how he will die. We do agree, however, that Bene should start in control, then either Giovanni (if we were to get one) or Marco should have the control. If we get a Giovanni in the meantime, then succession will be mixed up again as they will have the option themselves. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No, we have reread Marco-s bio and while it was perfectly fine when he was the only one in the comm with the addition of your characters and the father, we are inclined to agree that the bit where he was the ONLY one should be revised. Rafael-s has recently brought that to our attention as well. We will be discussing that with marco-s and a change will be made. No, but thank you. We are hoping to nip this all in the butt before it gets to that point. Both of you want the position, perhaps when Giovanni comes in, he will want to be the boss. So as much as you both might come to an understanding (or might not) someone else might tweak it and we might be back here again. We do hope not. (Reply to this) (Parent)
